Whether you’re a “green nut” or just an average Joe, it’s always frustrating to see a car or truck spewing out smoke from their tail-pipe. These vehicles contribute more than their “fair share” of pollution and need to be repaired.
According to the Davis County website, “These vehicles are generally gross polluters and should have repairs performed to allow the vehicles to meet emission requirements. If you see such a vehicle being driven and would like to report it for testing, please make note of the license plate number, a description of the vehicle (make and color, etc.), the location, the date and time when you saw the vehicle. Report a smoking vehicle by contacting our office by phone at 546-8860 Ext. 12, or complete and submit the form [available here].”
