According to The Jerusalem Post, the Palestinian Authority says they are just “… one vote short of a majority in the UN Security Council… Palestinian Authority Foreign Minister Riyad al-Malki said Thursday that the Palestinians have received approval from 8 members [of 9 required] for the UN Security Council to support their bid for full membership to the United Nations.”
That means if one more vote is achieved, to prevent the takeover of Jerusalem, one of the council’s five “permanent members” must veto the resolution.
The United States of America is one of those who has veto power, which means the Obama Administration (which is openly reluctant to use its veto for fear of offending Muslims) is faced with a situation of Biblical proportions.
Chances are, if we do not use our veto power, it will be to “protect Americans” from religious extremists, who have vowed to kill Jews and Americans in a violent revolt the day following a USA veto.
