Today a user was trying to sync his Windows Mobile device (using T-Mobile’s T-Zones on a Dash running Windows Mobile 6) and was unable to sync with our corporate Exchange Server, each time returning a "server error" of type 0x85010014.
Typically this type of error is due to a mismatched date/time on the device versus the server (the SSL certificate is invalid outside a certain window).
In this instance the problem was because the user’s account was set to require the password to be changed on the first login.
Once we did that (on a network connected computer), and input the user’s new password on the device, all worked without any problems.
