The World Cup comes around once in every 4 years; it’s the Olympics of the Soccer (“foot ball”) world. To be honest, this is the first year that I’ve ever cared about it.
For those of you who weren’t paying close attention, it all came down to Italy and France for the title. To add to the stakes, Zidane, a player on the French team, is retiring, this was to be his last World Cup.
Can you imagine, one of the best players in the world gets to the final game, what a way to end your career!
