Helix Wind Turbine Could Halve Your Electric Bill

Home-based wind power solutions are, as of now, not extremely practical. In Utah, where I live, we don’t get a lot of wind, but the wind that we do get is usually gusty and fairly strong, and it happens on very cloudy or heavily overcast/stormy days.

Utah, on the other hand, is relatively bright for most of the year, so setting up a solar energy solution for your home is a pretty practical idea… except on those stormy days… which is where a nice little wind-turbine would be ideal!
