The Utah State RACES VHF and VoIP net will be held on a repeater near you on Thursday night at 2000 hours local time.

This is a statewide net to exercise and train all Hams for emergency communications.  During the net, you will hear from Hams all across the state, using repeaters, Echolink, IRLP, and simplex.

The net is best heard on the 449.950 repeater in Clearfield. You may also be able to hear the net at http://www.radioreference.com/apps/audio/?feedId=7101.

In order to participate actively in the RACES Net, you must first register with the State of Utah and receive a special membership number.  Find more information here: http://publicsafety.utah.gov/homelandsecurity/RACES.html.
