The temptations in the halls of Congress and throughout Washington D.C. are enormous — for many even of good intentions, the siren songs of power and privilege are simply overwhelming. Remember the capitulations of the 1980s? Or how the 1994 “Contract with America” was betrayed in less than two years? My friend, we must not let this happen again. We must be bold in the peoples’ cause. We must hold the newly elected Republicans’ feet to the fire — and, as necessary, be prepared to put Old Bull Elephants out to pasture!
We, the people, voted the 112th Congress into office on the promise that they will promote constitutional principles and repudiate Obama socialism. Rep. John Boehner, the new Speaker of the House, and all the GOP “leadership” must be held to this same bedrock constitutional standard. The entire Class of 2010 needs to understand that they are ON PROBATION. The 112th Congress is morally and constitutionally obligated to REPEAL ObamaCare and STOP the SPENDING!

We insist that taxes must be cut and spending must be slashed. The unconscionable profligacy of the federal government MUST NOT be subsidized by tax increases upon the groaning backs of the productive citizens of our nation.
The newly-elected members of the Class of 2010 must be told — in no uncertain terms — to do in Washington what we, the people, sent them to do . . . and that begins with repealing the draconian, unconstitutional ObamaCare!

As I write this, the Republicans are selecting Committee Chairs, and Caucus Leaders — the signs are unsurprising but disturbing that without unremitting pressure from Constitution-minded patriots like YOU and relentless lobbying by principled patriot organizations like DA PAC, Congress will be back to their regular “fool the voters” shenanigans in no time!
A great opportunity lies before us, and that opportunity must not be squandered. You must help DA PAC convince Mr. Boehner that the failures of the past cannot be repeated.
