Google Tip: Track UPS packages from Google

Have you ever wanted to track a UPS package? If so you’ve probably gone out to UPS.com, selected your country from their drop-down, clicked the checkbox to plant a cookie so the site will remember your preference for future visits, waited for the page to load, clicked on the “next” arrow, waited for the page to load, clicked the “Track” button, waited for the page to load, typed in your tracking number, clicked the “I’m the sender or receiver of this package” checkbox, clicked the “next” arrow, waited for the page to load, clicked on the “details” link, waited for the page to load, then gotten your detailed tracking information… Whew! That’s a lot of clicking and page loading! Don’t you wish there was a better way?

Google to the rescue!
Go to Google, type in your tracking number and click search and wait for the search results.

Click the link and wait for the UPS site to show you the detailed tracking information for your package. That’s it!

Google method: 3 pages; 2 clicks
UPS method: 4 (large) pages; 9 clicks
