WordPress has finally upgraded to version 2.3 (as have I, since WP is my blogging engine).
Some items to note regarding JoeLevi.com
Some functionality has been changed, modified, or removed with this upgrade. No worries, just trying to make things faster for you, the viewer.
Some functionality has been (or will shortly be) added. This is to add value and interactivity to you, the viewer.
The theme of this site will change within the next short while. I’m migrating from “looks pretty” to “is functional, professional, and fast.” This, again, to assist you, the viewer, get the information that you want quicker and easier. (Be sure and let me know how that works out for you.)
Some Items to note regarding WordPress 2.3
WordPress 2.3 has all the security updates that v2.2.2 has in it, so it should be a no-brainer to upgrade right away.
The upgrade process is the same: back up your database, backup your files, turn off your plugins, upload the new stuff, run /wp-admin/upgrade.php, turn your plugins back on, and if all went well you’re done.
