Some in the local Media are claiming that the Patrick Henry Caucus “hijacked” the Utah GOP.
Much like the Tea party, The Patrick Henry Caucus is simply a movement of like-minded individuals. Their “call to action” states that “[t]he desire for change is not enough. As people of good conscience, we must get involved and unite in defending the liberties that we hold dear. We must act.”
How can a call to action to hold our elected officials accountable for their actions (or inactions) and votes “hijacking” the GOP? Again, it’s absurd.
