E-Verify is the tool the Federal Government has provided for employers to use to check whether or not new-hires are eligible to work in the United States. You submit your name, Social Security Number, and answer a variety of questions. The system churns on the data you’ve input and essentially spits out a thumbs-up or a thumbs-down.
Recently there have been some questions raised about President Obama’s Social Security Number.
If President he were to apply for a job with a company that uses E-Verify, he would likely be denied the jobs because his Social Security Number is flagged as fraudulent by the government’s own system.
