Sometimes violence hits too close to home, or in this case, too close to my parent’s home.
This incident happened yesterday afternoon just down the hill from my parent’s in East Layton, Utah. It looks like an apparent “suicide by cop.”

This is a sad story. This man has affected so many lives. Just to show how small the world is, you mention this took place near your parents’ home, I teach primary with one of the officers that was involved.
