Local residents feel that the facts are not being presented on the roads fund issue, Syracuse leaders argue they are. What do you think?

Budgetary documents seem to indicate that during recent years Class “C” Road funds provided to Syracuse City by UDOT were NOT used for road maintenance/repairs.

The problem? They are required to use these funds for maintenance and repairs by Utah Code 72-2-107 & 108.

So, where is it going? It appears they are being diverted to pay expenses for other “non-essential” city departments!

The Citizens of Syracuse have not been given accurate information about where Class “C” funds are being used.
