This egg recall is not a fluke. It’s just the latest example of how the consolidation of food production puts us at risk. This particular recall is about two production facilities responsible for at least 550 million eggs under 30 different labels, but large egg facilities like this are commonplace. We’ve been working to break the monopolies in our food system, and now is the time to step up our efforts.
