A Call for Zune Autoplaylists

I really like the Zune (the hardware; and one day I will have one), in the meantime I’m switching over to using Zune (the software) versus Windows Media Player.

I have 50GB of (legitimate, ripped from my own CD’s) music at home on my terabyte RAID, ripped as MP3 320Kbps CBR. But I don’t have many playlists… so I’m putting out a call for playlists!

Both Zune (software) and WMP have autoplaylists where you can have a playlist automatically and dynamically updated (very cool).

That’s the first call, send me your .ZPL autoplaylists file (not the music, just the playlist file).

Next call: send me your .ZPL regular playlists so I can see how playlists with missing items work.

We really should have some sort of playlist repository where we can all share our playlists (not our music, just the list — have I covered myself from RIAA retaliation well enough yet?). So, why not use my blog for that (until something better comes along)?

Email me with your playlist files at my gmail account joelevidotcom+playlists@gmail.com?subject=playlists and I’ll post links the the .ZPLs here!

We should get together sometime. I can show off my Zune, and we can discuss this playlist stuff.
