Ruger just introduced their first AR-15, the SR-556™, a two-stage piston driver AR-style rifle. According to their website, the piston driven SR-556™ “runs cleaner, cooler, and is easier to maintain than gas-driven rifles.” Awesome. For anyone out there, my birthday is in September. 😉

Last week, Barack Obama’s message to the world was: “the United States is not and never will be at war with Islam.”
Just because the majority of the attacks against “western-style” people are being committed by people with Islamic ties doesn’t mean Islam is to blame. Using the same logic, just because some criminals use firearms during the commission of their crimes, doesn’t means the guns are to blame. Okay, fair enough.
So really, we’re at war against the people committing these crimes, right? So how does the Federal Government identify these people?
