    Why in the world wouldn’t they just seed a torrent?

    @McKay,

    Well, for the world-record attempt I’d say it’s because it’s not as easy to track a full-download (a requirement for the record) via a torrent tracker as it is via a traditional mirror.

    But I agree, torrent’s are mainstream enough that they should have offered that as an option for the geeks among us. :)

    In the meantime, I’ve downloaded it and am LOVING it! :)
