Joe Levi presents Greener Living through Technology

Those of you who were following along with my Twitter feed probably noticed that I was checking in a lot. (My phone ran out of battery juice so I couldn’t take pictures, videos, or send Tweets the last day, just FYI.)

Why was I doing this? Well, a couple reasons actually. First, so that someone somewhere would know where I was (generally speaking) just in case something happened and we never showed up back at home. Secondly, it was a way for me to quickly jot notes to myself about what was going on so we could reminisce at a later time and have more than just some generic pictures to remind us. Lastly, was for you, my readers: whether you were on the park at the time and found my reports of line lengths of value, or if you’re just curious about the park this time of year, or what rides are closed for renovations, etc.

Anyhow, thanks for hanging in there… we now return you to our regularly scheduled program already in progress…

• then big thunder again… P and J love it! #
• over at california adventure, rode the flying over california ride then the rafting ride (warning: you WILL get wet!) #
• whoever thought of this ride and put a shirt store next to it was a marketing ninja! #
• over to the rocking ferris wheel.. #
• P was too short to ride the screamer roller coaster, and M and J opted out, so we headed back to Dland to try for dinner @ Blue Bayou #
• Blue Bayou needs reservations 2 days in advance… guess we won’t get there until next time we come… #
• so we went to Village Haus for burgers and mac n cheese.. I’m impressed with the healthy foods, kids meals come with apple slices #
• from there it was back to Big Thunder, but one of their cameras went down, so they took the ride offfline… P and J wanted N 2 ride w/ them #
• so P S M and I rode pirates while N and J rode Indiana Jones… then I took M on indie.. P is too small by a couple inches to ride it #
• from there we left the park, hbad a very rude ART driver (that was a first) P and S were asleep the whole ride home… #
• no TV, straight to bed! #
• this morning has been a lazy day.. naps in the morning, laundry, M and J are swimming at the pool with me supervising… #
• elevator broke… with some guests inside… lucky we’re only on the 3rd floor, and I think there’s another elevator at the other end… #

• bus ride and sky ride were fun… but left us little time at the petting zoo. p got sick on the ride home, but it didn’t get him down at all #
• today we started with a character breakfast at the plaza; pics with pooh, tigger, Jim (the bus boy) and more #
• when at the plaza get an omlet from Karl… wow! #
• while N M and S rode alice in wonderland P J and I rode the Matterhorn… twice, once with J alone and P and I in the seat behind her… #
• next was J and P in one car… then tea cups while N rode Materhorn.. then J P M and I rode twice! #
• from there lunch at the pizza parlor… why isn’t is "pizza planet" like in the movie? #
• N M P and J rode space mountain… scared M and P… S and I went to Honey I Shrunk the Audience… #
• M freaked out from space mountain so N S and M are going back to the hotel to calm down… J P and I are going to stay on the park… #
• we rode haunted mansion then splash mountain then big thunder #
