Woman on an Oxygen Machine Dies After Power Company Cuts off Electricity
“Folole Muliaga, a 44-year-old mother of four, died within two hours after the electricity was switched off in her home due to unpaid bills. Family members of Mrs. Muliaga, a schoolteacher, have said that she had been off work since February with a heart and lung condition.”
Since the power company’s action resulted in her death, can the power company be sued for “wrongful death” or be charged with “involuntary manslaughter”?
