Once upon a time a nice, suburban couple bought an AKC Registered German Shephed Dog puppy. As the suburban family grew, so did the puppy.

He was handsome and fun and made the children laugh and giggle when they played with him.

One day, the family decided to get another pet: a small gray rabbit. Having a somewhat warped sense of humor they named the rabbit Stew. Rabbit Stew slept outside on the front porch, and basked in the warm breeze of plesant summer nights.

One summer day the gate to the suburban backyard was left open and the friendly dog decided to see what was new in the neighborhood. He pranced merrily up and down the street until, convinced that the neighborhood was still there and that he had not been magically teleported to some “other” neighborhood, he returned home.

The dog, being a well-mannered dog, decided to return to his home through the front door, rather than the side gate. It was here that he met Rabbit Stew.

The dog had never seen a rabbit before, and was very excited. So was Rabbit Stew. Somehow the cage came open and Stew tried to escape. The dog, reverting to his primal instincts, tried to capture the rabbit.

After a few short moments the chase was over: the dog was successfull in capturing his quarry.

When the suburban housewife and her young daughter came to the door to see what all the rukus was about they were met with a very proud dog presenting them with the body of a dead rabbit.

After the screaming and crying died down, Rabbit Stew was laid to rest. The beautiful housewife and her daughter, however, were reminded of the tragic last moments of the beloved Rabbit Stew’s life every time they looked upon the dog.

The decision was made that a proclamation be issued to the inhabitants of the land: DOG FOR SALE.

Alas, the final chapter of this tale has yet to be written!

Will the dog find a new home and live happily ever after? Or will he be forever exiled to the dungeon of DogRun for the remainder of his days?
